Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.

In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.

Add the shrimp and cook for about 2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the red pepper flakes and white wine, and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the wine reduces by half.

Stir in the lemon juice and return the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, tossing the shrimp to coat in the sauce.

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
